FM BIM models can be constructed from an accurate as-built BIM model or can be constructed from scratch.
Once an accurate BIM model is created components within the model can be populated with maintenance schedules and records, operation manuals, photographs, start-up procedures and other information necessary to assure the proper maintenance and repairs are conducted in the shortest amount of time. Additional data such as room occupancy, temperature cycling, light usage and other data that assists in reviewing and optimizing building usage can be built into the model.
